Scene 1:
Place: Oakdale Police Department Precinct Station
Location: Squad Room

HOLDEN SNYDER, SIMON FRASIER, IVA SNYDER BENEDICT, AND LUCINDA WALSH

>> Simon: So, you slept with Rose.
>> Holden: Don't start with me, 'cause I'll rip your face off.
>> Simon: Hey, well, I told you, mate, I'm ready to go whenever you are.
>> Holden: You know, none of this would have happened if you hadn't showed up here with your bag of lies and your cheap bag of tricks!
>> Iva: Holden, don't do something that you're gonna regret.
>> Lucinda: And that goes for you too. Okay?

Scene 2:
Location: Squad Room

HOLDEN SNYDER AND SIMON FRASIER

[Simon comes into the room carrying 2 sodas and hands one to Holden]
>> Holden: What's this? It's a little late for peace offerings, don't you think?
>> Simon: Look, I know you think I'm to blame for all of this. Just take it.
>> Holden: That's real perceptive.
>> Simon: I only want to say once more -- look, I never meant to hurt Lily or your family. And I want to make something clear.
>> Holden: Don't bother. I tell you what, I won't hold a grudge if you're back in Australia in the very near future. But do not try to con me with some phony explanation.
>> Simon: All right, I'm only asking you to believe me about one thing.
>> Holden: What?
>> Simon: I never slept with your wife. The whole time that we were together nothing happened.
>> Holden: What was going on when I walked into that cozy little hideout?
>> Simon: Yeah, all right, come on. I kissed her. Yes, I kissed her. But listen, we thought we were going to die, or worse, be stuck forever on that godforsaken island. Look, we felt desperate. We drank a little bit too much, and we tried to forget the only way we knew how. You would have done the same thing. And the whole time that we were marooned there the only thing that Lily ever talked about were you and the kids, getting back to you, how much she missed you. Man, it used to kill me, but I knew I never stood a chance with her.
>> Holden: And now?
[OFFICER SHANKS enters the room]
>> Shanks: Hey, Mr. Australia, I guess you're free to go.
>> Simon: What's that?
>> Shanks: Our Canadian friend got an answer from the plaintiff on Lily Snyder's offer. Apparently, it's enough to get the charges completely dropped. So as soon as Lily Snyder signs a check he's back to Canada, and you're free to go.
>> Simon: So free as in free?
>> Shanks: As a bird.
>> Simon: Excellent. All right. Thank you.
>> Shanks: Don't thank me. It was Lily Snyder's check that did the good deed.
>> Holden: After everything that you've put us through, my wife uses her money and her good name to bail you out. Go figure.

Scene 3:
Location: Squad Room

SIMON FRASIER AND HOLDEN SNYDER

>> Simon: Are they ever coming out or what?
>> Holden: What's it to you? No one asked you to stay. What are you doing, waiting around for my wife to kiss you good-bye?
>> Simon: Well, after everything that Lily's done for me, I can't leave without saying thank you. It wouldn't be right.
>> Holden: Oh, suddenly you're an expert on what's right. A man of honor. Here I just thought you were a two-bit lying hustler.
>> Simon: Yeah. Well, I'm a better man than you are. At least I would know if I was sleeping with the wrong woman.
>> Holden: That's it, I want you gone.

Scene 4:
Location: Squad Room

SIMON FRASIER AND HOLDEN SNYDER

>> Simon: Look, I'm not going anywhere until I say good-bye to Lily.
>> Holden: I don't care what you want. No, I take that back. I know exactly what you want. Here you go. How's that? What, not enough? All right, I'll give you a little more. Still not enough. I tell you what, just take it all. Just take all of it and go back under that rock that you call home.
>> Simon: Yeah, it's easy for you to play the big kahuna when you're throwing around your wife's money.
>> Holden: You love my wife's money more than I do. I didn't hear you crying when she paid off those Canadian cops.
>> Simon: I'm going to pay her back.
>> Holden: Oh, right.
>> Simon: Yeah, something you could never do. Yeah, that fine, big house you live in, the thoroughbred horses, the television station lily owns and that you pretend to run. All paid for with Lily's money, isn't that right?
>> Holden: I'm not going to discuss that with you. Just take the money, you know you want it.
>> Simon: Yeah, you really think you've taken my measure. But it's only because you don't want to believe that I came to care more about lily than I did for that diamond.
>> Holden: This is what your caring has done for all of us. Our lives are all in a shambles now, because of you. Our lives will never be freed from the chaos your greed has brought. Now you have one of two choices -- you either walk out of here on your own or I'm gonna throw you out of here.

Scene 5:
Location: Squad Room

LUCINDA WALSH, LILY SNYDER, HOLDEN SNYDER, AND ROSE D'ANGELO

>> Lucinda: You all right, baby?
>> Lily: I'm fine. Where's Simon?
>> Lucinda: He's gone. The Canadians accepted the money, they dropped the charges. And all you have to do is sign something or rather.
>> Lily: I can't believe he left without saying anything.
>> Holden: I told him to get out of here.
>> Lily: You did what?
>> Holden: He ruined our lives. I couldn't stomach looking at the guy anymore.
>> Lily: Where did he go?
>> Holden: Hopefully very far away if he knows what's good for him.
>> Lily: But I wanted to say something to him before he left.
>> Holden: What did you want to do, did you want to relive old times? Months of hell wasn't enough for you?
>> Lucinda: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Take her home for heaven's sakes. Take her home. It's been a long day.
>> Lily: You had no right to do that.
>> Lucinda: She can't be going after that guy.
>> Holden: Well, she is.
>> Rose: Yeah, I don't know what she sees in that guy. I really don't. And I would never treat you like that, Holden.
>> Lucinda: Do you want to go back in the slammer?
>> Rose: Hey, your son-in-law is a great guy, if Lily doesn't want him, then I do.
>> Lucinda: Oh, you don't pull your punches, do you? Even when you're beaten.
>> Rose: So what, are you gonna put me back in the slammer or what?
>> Lucinda: I've got a proposition for you.
>> Rose: "Yeah, Rosie, here's a C-note, get out of town."
>> Lucinda: No. If you even think about getting out of town and you are back in the slammer.
>> Rose: So what's your proposition?
>> Lucinda: You want to come home with me?

Scene 6:
Place: Oakdale International Airport
Location: Terminal

LILY SNYDER AND SIMON FRASIER

>> Lily: Simon? Hey.
>> Simon: Hey. I was just thinking about you. I'm so glad to see you. I didn't think I'd see you before I went.
>> Lily: Please don't go.
