Scene: Outside Lakeview Towers Hotel Ballroom

>> Mike: I didn't think I'd ever see her again.
>> Jack: You know her?
>> Mike: Yeah, she was with Simon when Katie and I went on that cruise. I should've known she'd be anywhere millions of dollars worth of jewels were involved.
Scene 2:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Ballroom
MARGO SNYDER, KATIE KASNOFF
>> Margo: Ooh, you look great!
>> Katie: So do you.
>> Margo: So, where's Mike?
>> Katie: He is getting drinks.
>> Margo: He's not here.
>> Katie: Who? Okay, so I'm looking for Simon.
>> Margo: Why?
>> Katie: Because trouble is a lot easier to deal with when you can see it coming.
Scene 3:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Room
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER
>> Carly: What are you hiding?
>> Simon: The less you know, the better. Why aren't you dressed?
>> Carly: Change in plans. The less you know, the better.
>> Simon: Explain.
>> Carly: You first. We're in this together, Simon. Up to our eyeballs. And if we don't get those jewels, we're dead.
>> Simon: What change in plans?
>> Carly: Did you happen to notice that this place is crawling with security?
>> Simon: Carly --
>> Carly: All right. I figured it out. I know exactly how to get our Prince Aldolpho away from that Vienna person and away from his country's precious jewels.
Scene 4:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Room
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER
>> Simon: Carly, come on. We've got to get down there, now!
>> Carly: Don't rush me!
>> Simon: You know what? I can't work Vienna and steal her necklace if the party's over before I arrive.
>> Carly: This has to be perfect. I was up all night researching Prince Aldolpho, and I found his weakness.
>> Simon: No, no, no, no. The whole goal of this was to keep your hands clean, and me do all the illegal stuff.
>> Carly: Well, I keep telling you. There is nothing legal about aiding and abetting grand larceny. But if it keeps Spirro from killing you, it's worth it. Now, go to the other side of the room.
>> Simon: Carly, we're late.
>> Carly: You have to get the full visual! Now, get to the other side of the room!
>> Simon: All right, fine. You know what? I'm stepping back, I'm on the other side of the room. I'm ready. Can you please come out and show me what Prince Aldolpho's big weakness is? Grace Kelly.
Scene 5:

Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Ballroom
MIKE KASNOFF, KATIE KASNOFF
>> Mike: Did you spot Simon yet?
>> Katie: I wasn't looking for him.
>> Mike: Well, I just figured he'd be here, seeing that he and Vienna used to be an item.
>> Katie: You're right. I hadn't even thought about that.
>> Mike: And now she's dating a prince. Go figure.
>> Katie: Well, she was pretty interested in you, too. Are you going to say hello?
>> Mike: I'm staying as far away from that crazy woman as possible.
Scene 6:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Room
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER
>> Carly: Prince Aldolpho is obsessed with Grace Kelly. How am I doing?
>> Simon: Don't -- change a thing.
>> Carly: And I see you are ready to give Vienna the night of her life.
>> Simon: Why? Are you jealous?
>> Carly: Like I couldn't have you any time I wanted.
>> Simon: Any time except for now. Let's go.
>> Carly: Simon, no mistakes.
>> Simon: Carly, I don't make mistakes. I've taken care of every single detail, except for one. You.
>> Carly: Me?
>> Simon: Yes. Vienna has to believe that I am completely and utterly alone tonight. So you must, no matter what, try to keep your eyes off me.
>> Carly: Why don't I start practicing right now?
>> Simon: Okay.
Scene 7:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Ballroom
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, VIENNA HYATT
>> Vienna: Simon --
>> Simon: Vienna. You know, I never really quite prepared for how beautiful you really are.
>> Vienna: Really?
>> Simon: I think about you a lot. I can't help myself.
>> Vienna: How's that ex-wife of yours? What was her name again?
>> Simon: Katie. Katie is very, very happily married.
>> Vienna: Oh, so it's over between the two of you?
>> Simon: Yes, it is. And, you know what? I have no right to say this, I'm sorry.
>> Vienna: Oh, go ahead, live a little.
>> Simon: I am so sorry I let you go.
>> Vienna: You should be.
>> Simon: I want you so bad I can taste it. Say you'll be with me tonight.
>> Vienna: But the prince --
>> Simon: I'll get you a cocktail. I remember what you like.
>> Vienna: Simon --
>> Simon: Make your excuses with the prince. Find a way.
[ Carly gives a look to Simon, he makes his way over to her ]
Simon: I told you not to look at me.
>> Carly: Simon, call it off. Don't try and take the jewels.
>> Simon: Why, what happened?
>> Carly: Jack -- Jack is working security.
Scene 8:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Ballroom
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, KATIE KASNOFF, VIENNA HYATT
>> Katie: Hello, Vienna.
>> Vienna: Hello, Kitty.
>> Katie: You know my name is Katie.
>> Vienna: Right, of course. And your husband is Mike, yes? Oh, where is he?
>> Katie: Avoiding you.
>> Vienna: What do you want?
>> Katie: There's something you should know about Simon.
>> Vienna: Ah, he's over you.
>> Katie: Yes, he is.
>> Vienna: So we have nothing to say then.
>> Katie: Except -- Simon may be over me, but he's in love with someone else.
[ Vienna and Katie glance at Simon and Carly talking ]
>> Simon: Look, everything's in motion. I've got to go through with this.
>> Carly: What about Jack?
>> Simon: I'll handle the rest on my own.
>> Carly: No, Simon, you can't. And what about the prince? How are you going to get him out of the way?
>> Simon: Don't worry about me. With Jack here, you've got way too much to lose. Stay out of it.
Scene 9:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Lakeview Towers Hotel Ballroom
SIMON FRASIER, KATIE KASNOFF, CARLY SNYDER, VIENNA HYATT
>> Simon: I want to talk to you.
>> Simon: I saw you talking to Vienna, and now she's gone. What did you say to her?
>> Katie: I told her the truth, that you're with Carly now.
[ Vienna pulls Carly aside ]
>> Carly: What are you doing?
>> Vienna: Having a private conversation.
>> Carly: I don't even know you. What could we possibly have to talk about?
>> Vienna: You.
>> Carly: So the prince spoke to me, big deal.
>> Vienna: I'm not talking about the prince. Who cares about the prince? What is going on between you and my Simon?
