Scene 1:
Place: Atlantic City, New Jersey
Location: Boardwalk Plaza Hotel
Scene: Lily Walsh Snyder's hotel room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, SIMON FRASIER, AND ROSE D'ANGELO
>> Simon: And now it's time for me to reclaim what was lost for so many years. So, defend Rose all you want, pretend I'm the
villain if that helps you sleep better at night. But put yourself in my position, Lily. We both know that even you would do no
less. Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa --
>> Rose: Whaddya know? I wasn't so tired after all. What was that you said, Simon? About a "change in plans"? Oh, there's
going to be a change in plans. And guess what comes next?
>> Simon: Well, I'm sure you gonna tell me.
>> Rose: Oh, yeah. First, raise those sexy biceps of yours. Come on. The game of "Simon says" is over. Now, it's Rose says --
ah! Get back! Come on!
>> Lily: Don't let him get any closer!
>> Simon: Just givme the gun, Rose.
>> Rose: Oh, I'll give it to you.
>> Simon: All right, then. You better aim for the heart, Rose, 'cause that is the only way that you are gonna stop me from
getting back my diamond.
Scene 2:
Scene: Lily Walsh Snyder's hotel room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, SIMON FRASIER, AND ROSE D'ANGELO
>> Rose: You think I'm bluffing? Or maybe you have me confused with Lily here? I have never been accused of being
tender-hearted.
>> Simon: No. No, you can't do it. There is no way, Rose, that you can pull that trigger.
>> Rose: Oh no? You have no idea what I am capable of. I've been kicked enough in my life when I know it's time to kick
back or -- when to kick first. I'm a survivor, baby cakes.
>> Simon: Come on.
[Lily hits Simon over the head with a glass vase, as Simon is reaching up for the gun Rose is holding.]
[Simon does a flip onto the floor, face up. His eyes are closed.]
Scene 3:
Scene: Lily Walsh Snyder's hotel room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, ROSE D'ANGELO, AND AN UNCONSCIOUS SIMON FRASIER
>> Rose: Is he dead?
>> Lily: I don't know. But keep the gun on him, just in case he's bluffing.
>> Rose: The way you clocked him? I don't think so. Check his pulse.
>> Lily: Okay, but in case he makes any moves --
>> Rose: Got you covered, girlfriend.
>> Lily: He's not dead.
>> Rose: Well, that's good. Right? So, what now?
>> Lily: Well, he's going to head for the jeweler's as soon as he gets up and he's gonna try to get that diamond. So we have
to get there before he does.
>> Rose: I happen to have a little card up my -- sleeve. My friend, Boris, the jeweler -- his home number.
>> Lily: You had that all along? Even when you led us to the shop and it was closed?
>> Rose: Sure.
>> Lily: Well, call him! We've gotta get to that rock before Simon does.
>> Rose: Okay -- here, you hold the gun.
Scene 4:
Scene: Lily Walsh Snyder's hotel room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, ROSE D'ANGELO, AND AN UNCONSCIOUS SIMON FRASIER
>> Rose: Dosvidanya. Boris, you're the best. Thank you so much.
[Speaking with Russian accent.]
>> Rose: You have a great soul. Thank you. The jeweler's gonna meet us downstairs with the diamond.
>> Lily: Okay, terrific.
>> Rose: Just gonna have to blow this joint, go somewhere where Simon can't find me.
>> Lily: We have to get rid of the gun.
>> Rose: I can't leave it here, in case he wakes up.
>> Lily: Okay, all right. We'll dump it on the way.
>> Rose: Ah, let's make sure we don't have any accidents. Thank you. It's empty! He's been bluffing the whole time!
>> Lily: There are no bullets? I knew -- I knew Simon couldn't really be a killer.
>> Rose: Are you going soft on me, Lily?! This is the same guy who lied and cheated his way into our lives! Oh, acting all
brave, putting his hand out for the gun -- just like you see in the movies. Are you feeling pretty brave now, mate?!
>> Lily: Okay, we have to tie him up.
>> Rose: Right. Oh, some guys pay a lot of money for this. No guys I know. Why does he have to be so darn cute?
>> Lily: Now, who's "going soft"?
>> Rose: I've just always fallen for the wrong men.
>> Lily: Okay, we have to think this through. Rose?! Come on. We have to think of another decoy plan.
>> Rose: You know, the whole situation with the two fake diamonds didn't work, so what do you have in mind?
>> Lily: I'm not talking about two diamond. I'm talking about the two of us.
>> Rose: What do you mean?
>> Lily: Okay, let's get out of here and hit the hotel dress shop.
>> Rose: You want to go shopping now?
>> Lily: I'll explain on the way.
[Ugly shoes woman follows them in the hallway.]
UNCONSCIOUS SIMON FRASIER ON THE FLOOR, TIED UP AND ALONE.
[Phone ringing in the room, but no one conscious to answer it.]
Scene 5:
Scene: Show room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER AND ROSE D'ANGELO
>> Rose: It's like hayley mills finding her twin in "the parent trap."
>> Lily: Except this is "the Simon trap" -- this is amazing.
>> Rose: It does kind of give you the chills. All right, let me see you walk again. Come on.
>> Lily: A little less wiggle.
>> Rose: Oh, I get it. Kind of like you're above everybody else -- but not a snob. All right, laugh.
[Lily laughs.]
[Rose imitates laugh.]
>> Rose: Say something.
>> Lily: You're making me nervous.
>> Rose: Yeah? Well --
[Imitating Lily.]
>> Rose: You're making me nervous -- girlie.
>> Lily: That was great!
>> Rose: That was great!
>> Lily: You do me better than I do you.
>> Rose: You haven't had the training that I have. I guess all those acting classes finally paid off. I paid enough for 'em.
>> Lily: I paid enough for 'em.
>> Rose: That's pretty good.
[Imitating Lily.]
>> Rose: But I've always had an ear for accents.
>> Lily: This is going to work.
>> Rose: You think? I'm not sure about the duds.
>> Lily: No one -- no one will ever, ever be able to tell us apart! And when Simon goes after you, he won't even know that
you've left the hotel.
>> Rose: Well, that should give me enough time to make my getaway. I'm not goin' anywhere without that diamond. Where is
boris?! I don't like the idea of him traipsin' around with my rock in his pocket.
>> Lily: As soon as you're safe -- then I can go home to my husband and my family.
>> Rose: You got a good-lookin' family. Seems like you have a nice, quiet life back there.
>> Lily: Quiet, but happy.
Scene 6:
Scene: Lily Walsh Snyder's hotel room.
SIMON FRASIER ALONE.
>> Simon: Oh, oh. Big mistake, girls. Big mistake.
[Simon unties himself and leaves the room.]
Scene 7:
Scene: Show room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER AND ROSE D'ANGELO
>> Rose: I hate good-byes. I'm usually halfway out the door before anybody even knows I'm gone.
>> Lily: I don't want to lose touch. When I first got your e-mail responding to my ad about beloved, I -- I expected to meet -- I
don't know who I expected to meet, but you, Atlantic City showgirl with my face. That is something that I never, ever
expected! I just hope -
>> Rose: Go on, say it.
>> Lily: We've been through so much. Could you come visit me in Oakdale?
>> Rose: Why not? Yeah, why not? I've got the moola! Right? I can even come spur of the moment! Don't have to book a
flight early to get a cheap flight. Oh, I owe you, Lily Snyder.
>> Lily: You don't owe me anything.
>> Rose: No, no, no. If it wasn't for you, I never would've found out my diamond was the real mccoy!
>> Lily: We'll see each other again, we'll find out how we're connected, and we'll follow the journey of your diamond to your
mother, to beloved, to Simon's great-grandfather.
>> Rose: Are you sure -- are you sure that beloved got that diamond fair and square?
>> Lily: Absolutely.
>> Rose: Ooh, I'm gonna be a millionairess!
>> Lily: Just lay low until you sell the diamond. And be careful, please?
>> Rose: I do solemnly swear not to talk to any Australians, cross my heart and hope not to die. Oh, what the heck. I can
manage one good-bye. Good-bye, sugar. You take -- you take good care of yourself, all right?!
SIMON FRASIER ARRIVES.
>> Simon: Oh, that is a touching scene, ladies, but fun time is over!
Scene 8:
Scene: Show room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, ROSE D'ANGELO, AND SIMON FRASIER
>> Simon: Give me the diamond!
>> Lily: I don't know about any diamond. Do you?
>> Rose: None at all!
>> Simon: Oh, you're both so very clever. Matching outfits -- oh, that's good. But look, I figured out when Lily was posing as
Rose -- I'm gonna work this one out as well.
>> Rose: Oh, yeah, try.
>> Lily: Yeah!
>> Simon: I haven't got time for this! Give me what belongs to my family!
>> Rose: What are you looking at me for?
>> Lily: Maybe, you should be looking at me.
>> Simon: Look, Rose --
>> Lily: Are you confused, big boy? Oh, that's gonna make it really difficult for you to snatch that diamond.
>> Rose: 'Cause only one of us can have it.
>> Lily: And you can't chase us both. So, which one is it gonna be?
Scene 9:
Scene: Lakeview Restaurant
MISS KATIE PERETTI AND HENRY COLEMAN
>> Henry: Well, it looks like your plan to tell Holden about his unfaithful wife backfired.
>> Katie: Yeah, Holden's on his way to Atlantic City to find Lily.
>> Henry: Well, what a shocker. When in doubt, hop a plane across the country. Well, I guess it's full steam ahead with
"operation Kim Hughes," if we want to neutralize Molly and keep her away from WOAK. So much for your night out with the
boss.
>> Katie: I may have lost tonight, but the future's still open. Simon was with Lily. So, as soon as Holden gets to Atlantic City
and sees what his wife's doing, all bets are off.
Scene 10:
Scene: Show room.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, ROSE D'ANGELO, AND SIMON FRASIER
>> Simon: Rose, Rose, come on -- didn't -- didn't anything we talked about mean anything to you? We could plan a future
together. Yeah, yeah, share the money from the diamond.
>> Rose: Oh yeah, that will work.
>> Lily: I may have temporary lapses when it comes to men, but I'm not stupid.
[Lights go out.]
>> Lily: What'd you do now?
>> Rose: Is this another one of your tricks?
>> Lily: If this is supposed to scare us, it's not gonna work.
[Ugly shoe woman is on the catwalk. Her gun is ready.]
>> Simon: No, no, no -- no, this wasn't me! All right? We've been found out! Run, run!
[Slow motion scattering.]
[View of gun firing.]
