Scene 1:
Location: The Cottage
Scene: Outside

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

[Katie is searching for their house key]
>> Katie: Simon, it's not here. What if Dahlia has it? Oh, my God. What if she's inside right now, and she just left?
>> Simon: Hey, hey, slow down, okay? It's all right. No need to panic. Here it is, safe and sound. I thought our little vacation was supposed to chill you out a bit.
>> Katie: Our time away was heaven. And there was nothing chilly about it.
>> Simon: I know. I don't think I'll ever look at maple syrup the same way ever again.
>> Katie: I hate this.
>> Simon: What?
>> Katie: Our beautiful home has been invaded. How dare Dahlia put a bug in our house. How dare she try to listen to everything that we say, every specific, private conversation. I just hate the thought of her being in these woods and - watching us.
>> Simon: I know. I know how you feel. When we left the hotel, I was wondering why we were even bothering to come back here?
>> Katie: Well, you know the answer to that. 'Cause tonight, we're putting an end to all of this.

Scene 2:
Location: The Cottage

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

[Katie Frasier and Simon Frasier are playing it up for the bugged device.]
>> Simon: All right, it was supposed to be a romantic getaway, just the two of us, you know? A chance to get our marriage back on track. But, no, you practically jumped out of your skin every time I tried to touch you!
>> Katie: Well, that's just because I had to get settled down a little bit. But, no, everything has to be your way.
>> Simon: Ah, oh, please. Nothing is my way anymore, Katie. And I know the reason why.
>> Katie: Yeah, because you're so hotheaded that you can't control your emotions!
>> Simon: No, no! It's because you don't trust me anymore!
>> Katie: Yeah, I don't trust you anymore, Simon. And you know what? I don't think I'll ever trust you again.
[Simon Frasier grins and gives Katie Frasier the double "thumbs-up."]

Scene 3:
Location: The Cottage

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

>> Simon: Well, I'm glad to hear you finally say it out loud. Not that there's been any questions. Because you haven't trusted me for months!
>> Katie: I tried so many times. But you know what? It came to a point where I had to protect myself.
>> Simon: From what?
>> Katie: You.
>> Simon: Look, I have never, ever harmed you. Or I never would harm you.
>> Katie: Well, you say that, but -
>> Simon: But - but Dahlia says different. Right?
>> Katie: Oh, you can't blame what happened while we were away on Dahlia. You know it's your fault!
>> Simon: Why? What did I do?
>> Katie: You forced me onto that sailboat. How could you do that?!
>> Simon: It was a romantic weekend, Katie! It was - it was a beautiful day.
>> Katie: There was about to be a storm!
>> Simon: There were three clouds, Katie. Big, fluffy white ones.
>> Katie: Oh, well, come on. You have to think about the fact that I was scared because that's what had happened to Monique. And - well, what else could I have done but jump off the boat?
>> Simon: And who tried to save you, huh? Who - who dove into that water, fully clothed, and swam with you to shore?
>> Katie: Well - who knew - how did I know that you weren't gonna drown me or something? If those people hadn't found us -
>> Simon: I do not drown people, Katie. I did not kill Monique. I did not kill Dahlia or that lawyer. And most of all, I do not wanna kill you.
>> Katie: Well, Simon, I don't know what to say. I've made up my mind. I can't live like this. I want you to get out!
>> Simon: What - you're asking me to leave?
>> Katie: Yeah. Get all of your things, and get out - get out of here. Because, in the morning, I'm filing for a divorce!

Scene 4:
Location: The Cottage

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

>> Katie: Don't make this harder than it already is, okay?!
>> Simon: Okay!
>> Katie: Just get out. Get out now! I will have someone fix the banister, and I'll put this place on the market. And I will forget that I ever knew you.
And - maybe, just maybe - someday I will forget that I ever loved you.
>> Simon: And what if I say no?
>> Katie: Well, then I'll just have to get the police involved and you wouldn't want that. That would be another investigation?
>> Simon: Well, fine. Let them investigate, huh? They won't - they couldn't prove anything before, and they're not gonna be able to prove anything now. Not that you care about that, huh?
>> Katie: No, I don't care. Just get out!
>> Simon: All right, Katie. I'll leave. But I warn you, okay - I'll be back.
[Outside the Cottage]
>> Simon: That was good. I'm gonna drive up the road, stash the car, then walk back here so I can keep an eye on the house. From there, I'll give Margo a call, okay?
>> Katie: Do you think that Dahlia's going to make a move now?
>> Simon: If she does, I'm gonna be right there. Are you gonna be okay while I'm gone?
>> Katie: Yeah. I love you.
>> Simon: I love you, too. Okay.
[Car starts.]

Scene 5:
