SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER, PILAR DOMINGO

>> Katie: Today? You want hop on a plane and go to Australia today?
>> Simon: Yeah. Look, I know it's crazy, but why not?
>> Katie: Because it's so -- out of the blue.
>> Simon: No, it's not. It's spontaneous. And that's what you and I are. We're spontaneous. Besides, I've been dying to show you where I've come from for a long time.
>> Katie: I saw where you come from, and I didn't have such a great time.
>> Simon: Come on, it's going to be different. Listen, consider me your own personal tour guide. Yeah? I'll introduce you to a few of my old mates, teach you how to surf down at Bondo Beach. It's the greatest lifestyle in the world. You're going to love it.
>> Katie: It does sound nice --
>> Simon: Yeah? Fantastic!
>> Katie: What are you doing?
>> Simon: I'm gonna book us the greatest hotel in Sydney.
>> Katie: Oh, you weren't joking about tonight, were you?
>> Simon: No, no, no. A room overlooking the beach. It's awesome. >> Katie: Well, hold on. No!
>> Simon: Why?
>> Katie: That's my question. Why does it have to be this minute? And I'm not going anywhere until you can give me an answer I can believe. You're not talking about just a vacation to Australia, are you? You mean, forever --
[ Phone rings ]
>> Simon: Hello?
>> Pilar: I figured out how you can help me get Mike back.
>> Simon: I'm sorry, mate, this is not a dating service.

Scene 2:
Location: Frasier Cottage
Scene: Living Room

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

>> Katie: A few minutes ago you were planning me this huge party, and now all of a sudden, you want me to move halfway across the world? Out of the blue? Without a conversation? What's going on?
>> Simon: I just thought we could make a fresh start.
>> Katie: I thought that's what we were doing -- here. You're saying we have to go all the way to Australia to do it?
>> Simon: Well, we were always planning on going someday anyway.
>> Katie: Yeah. That was before you ran off. And I ran off after you and got locked in the basement by that psycho while you pretended you were dead.
>> Simon: Look, we're never going to go anywhere near that place. Babe, we'll be in the city. We'll be in the city. We'll live by the coast. You're gonna love it --
>> Katie: I just don't understand why we can't stay here, where it's familiar and quiet, and we can focus on getting to know each other again.
>> Simon: This is your home, Katie.
>> Katie: What are you talking about? This is our home. You built this from a tiny, wrecked shack into this beautiful place for us.
>> Simon: Yeah, and I can do it all over again in Australia. Come on. It's the greatest place in the world to raise kids.
>> Katie: I guess I just never realized you were so unhappy here.
>> Simon: I'm not unhappy. It's just that, we've only known each other here. I want to show you -- and share with you -- my home. Then, we can decide where we want to live from there.
>> Katie: We were just starting to get so close again.
>> Simon: Going away is only going to make us closer.
>> Katie: You're asking me to uproot my entire life -- without warning.
>> Simon: No. I'm saying, that it's just you and me going away together, no distractions. How bad can that be?
>> Katie: I don't know. It's just, right now, it doesn't seem like a good thing. I don't know why. You're just all of a sudden not being yourself, Simon. Something's not right. Are you in trouble again? Is someone after you again? You're trying to cover it up. I'm gonna call Margo.
>> Simon: No, no, no, no, no, no. You don't have to call her, please. It's -- you're right, you're right. I am holding out on you. It was just -- being here reminds me of the past, you know? Relationships.
>> Katie: Oh, honey -- you don't have to worry about that. We're together again. We're married. We made vows. Nothing, no one is ever gonna come between us again, okay?

Scene 3:
Location: Frasier Cottage
Scene: Living Room

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER, PILAR DOMINGO

>> Simon: So, obviously, you don't want to talk about Australia right now, and that's fine. We'll -- we'll chat about it later.
>[Pilar looking through the window ]
> Katie: Listen, I'm not completely opposed, but I just need to think about it, okay?
>> Simon: Why don't you go make that phone call anyway?
>> Katie: To Margo?
>> Simon: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, she's your sister. She always gives you great advice. Just talk about it with her, see what she thinks.
>> Katie: You sure?
>> Simon: Yeah. Yeah, and why don't you -- ? Here. Grab the phone, go upstairs, have some privacy. Talk about me behind my back, say whatever you want. I really don't care.
>> Katie: Oh, that's sweet. But you know I would never talk bad about you. Mm. Don't worry, okay? The past is past. It's over.
[ Simon opens the door and goes out to talk with Pilar ]
>> Simon: Coming to my house is not going to get you anything.
>> Pilar: You hung up on me.
>> Simon: Yeah, and another thing about that. Do not call my house. What if Katie answers?
>> Pilar: That's right. What if? Maybe you need to remember that there's nothing to stop me from going in there and telling her that you hired me to come between --
>> Simon: Just shut up. Cut to the chase. What do you want? You said you figured out something to do.
>> Pilar: Yes. Mike is really angry with me right now. But if he didn't believe Katie's side of things, then we'd be fine. So, he needs to find out that Katie has had a revelation. She realizes now that she was wrong about me.
>> Simon: Katie wasn't wrong. You sent her to the looney bin. She's never going to forget that.
>> Pilar: Yeah, but if you talk to Mike --
>> Simon: What? Talk to Mike? And say what?
>> Pilar: That Katie's too embarrassed to admit that she made a big mistake blaming him.
>> Simon: You want me to go to Mike and tell him that Katie's had a change of heart. He's not going to believe that. That's going to have to come from Katie, and she's never going to say that.
>> Pilar: Well, then what if you timed it so that you told him, and then you and Katie moved away?
>> Simon: You know what? If you think that I'm going to do that, you're the one who should go to the nut house.
>> Pilar: Come on. A conman like you? It's like taking candy from a baby.
>> Simon: Read my lips, no.
>> Pilar: Does this work?
>> Simon: Back off.
>> Pilar: Mike is at the hospital right now. Maybe you could arrange to bump into him there.
>> Simon: You are really pushing it, man.
>> Pilar: You're the one that pushed things, Simon. Don't you realize that? When I got to town, Katie and Mike weren't together at all. She was being loyal to you, even though you walked out on her. All you had to do was come back, and she would have been right there waiting for you. But now, with all your lies and schemes, all the things you did to hold on to her, are exactly what's going to make you lose her. Funny how life works, isn't it?
>> Simon: Get out of here now.
>> Pilar: Change Mike's mind by tonight, or your marriage is over.

Scene 4:
Location: Frasier Cottage
Scene: Living Room

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

>> Simon: So, did you speak to Margo?
>> Katie: She was at the station. I didn't want to bother her there.
>> Simon: So what were you doing up there so long?
>> Katie: Thinking.
>> Simon: About?
>> Katie: I'll go.
>> Simon: What?
>> Katie: I said I'll go. Don't you know that I would go to the ends of the earth to make you happy?

Scene 5:
Location: Frasier Cottage
Scene: Living Room

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

>> Simon: So what changed your mind?
>> Katie: Well, I guess I just started thinking about marriage. And when two people love each other as much as we do, they make sacrifices for each other.
>> Simon: You've already given up so much for me.
>> Katie: And you've given up a lot for me, too.
>> Simon: So, what about your family?
>> Katie: I'm gonna miss 'em. And Henry, too. But they can come visit, right?
>> Simon: Yes, right. Absolutely.
>> Katie: I just think it's about time that I got to know the country that gave me the man I love.
>> Simon: We're going to have the most phenomenal life. I promise.
>> Katie: As long as it's forever this time.
>> Simon: It is going to be forever. You can bet on that. All right, then. I guess we better go start packing.
>> Katie: Why?
>> Simon: Well, we got so much to do before we leave.
>> Katie: Oh, I don't think I made myself very clear. I'm gonna go with you to Australia, but not tonight.

Scene 6:
Location: Frasier Cottage
Scene: Living Room

SIMON FRASIER, KATIE FRASIER

>> Katie: Come on, Simon. You don't really expect me to hop on a plane without saying good-bye to my brother and sister?
>> Simon: No, no, I guess not.
>> Katie: You know me. It takes me two days to get ready for a weekend trip to Chicago. You're talking about a lifetime on the other side of the world. I mean, what about the cottage?
>> Simon: Well, I'm sure Henry probably wants to stay here.
>> Katie: Yeah, probably, but I'm gonna have to work that out with him. And what are we gonna do with Faux and Snickers?
>> Simon: Um -- well, they can keep Henry warm on cold, lonely nights. Look, is there no way I can convince you to be spontaneous here?
>> Katie: I'm going with you. Isn't that enough?
>> Simon: Yes, it is. No, absolutely. You're right. It sure is.
>> Katie: Ooh, and that party you were gonna throw me can turn into our bon voyage party.
>> Simon: Ah, good idea. Now you're thinking. Actually, I'm really glad you know about this party now.
>> Katie: And why is that?
>> Simon: Well, it occurred to me that since I've been gone, I really don't know who any of your friends are anymore. I mean, you probably have some hospital friends that you want to invite, right?
>> Katie: Oh, that's sweet to think of them.
>> Simon: Yeah? So, you know what? We don't we head down there now? Meet some of them, and we can invite them now.
>> Katie: Okay. Actually, I'm gonna need to go down there and talk to personnel anyway about not reinstating me.
>> Simon: Okay, then. So we're off?
>> Katie: We're off.
