Scene 1:
Place: Near Beaver Cove, Canada
Location: Cabin
LILY WALSH SNYDER, CELIA FRASIER, AND AN UNCONSCIOUS SIMON FRASIER.
>> Lily: Celia, don't! You can't. You can't shoot Simon.
>> Celia: Poor stupid Simon.
>> Lily: No, don't, please don't! Before you pull that trigger, just think about what you're gonna do!
>> Celia: What do you know about me and Simon? You don't know anything. So if you're waiting for me to
have a nice fuzzy moment about my brother, you can just wait forever!
>> Lily: I don't expect anything from you.
>> Celia: You're a little bit smarter than you look.
>> Lily: Are you? I'm just saying is that you traveled all this way to the states to find that stone. Don't you want
to leave the states a wealthy woman? You pull that trigger, you'll never see that diamond. I can tell you that for
sure. All you'll have is blood on your hands. Look, my husband has detectives looking for me all over the
country. And you will never see that diamond, because the police are gonna find you first, and that is a
guarantee!
Scene 2:
Location: Cabin
LILY WALSH SNYDER, CELIA FRASIER, AND AN UNCONSCIOUS SIMON FRASIER.
>> Lily: Are you really willing to give it all up? All the time and that time and energy you've spent traveling
around the country to find that stone, all the years that you've dreamed about owning it again. And if you hurt
me, or do something to me or Simon, you're going to end up penniless and also a murderer. Look, I'm telling
you the federal agents and the local police, you won't even get past customs.
>> Celia: Oh, get up! Move over here.
>> Lily: What am I gonna do?
>> Celia: You're gonna pour my brother a nice cool glass of water to wake him up because I want to see his
face when he hears my new brilliant idea.
Scene 3:
Location: Cabin
LILY WALSH SNYDER, CELIA FRASIER, AND AN UNCONSCIOUS SIMON FRASIER.
[Simon has been face down on the floor since Lily knocked him out.]
[Lily sprinkles little handheld bits of water about his neck.]
>> Lily: Simon, are you all right?
>> Celia: I said wake him up, not baptize him!
[Celia grabs the cup of water and dumps it on the back of his head.]
>> Lily: Simon, are you all right? Are you okay?
[Simon regains consciousness and gets up.]
[Simon groans.]
>> Simon: Of course I'm not all right. You tried to kill me.
>> Lily: No. No, not you. I'm --
>> Celia: Hello, darling.
>> Simon: Hello, Celia.
>> Celia: Oh, yeah, you see, Lily has a bad sense of timing. She wanted to hit me over the head with that
candlestick.
>> Lily: How is your head? Is it all right?
>> Simon: Yeah, bloody awful. Thanks for asking, though.
>> Celia: But you have a very thick skull, don't you, Simon? So you'll survive. You always do. Why don't you
get up? You've had enough rest. Get up!
>> Simon: So what are you gonna do with us now?
>> Celia: Well, Lily's last-minute plea for mercy, well, it gave men epiphany. You really ought to thank her. She's
given you a second chance.
>> Simon: So, where are you taking us?
>> Celia: The less you know about that, the better off you'll be, trust me. Now, let's get moving. I said, let's get
moving!
[Lily, then Simon, and finally Celia leave through the open cabin door.]
Scene 4:
Place: In the air.
Location: Private airplane.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, CELIA FRASIER, AND SIMON FRASIER.
>> Celia: So, Lily, if you're a very good little girl and behave yourself, I'll untie you and take off your blindfold.
Are you going to behave?
>> Lily: Yes.
>> Celia: What was that?
>> Lily: Yes!
>> Celia: Oh, much better. Much better. Go on. Now you can untie Simon. Go on.
>> Lily: Where are we?
>> Celia: I think we are -- yes, we're in an airplane.
>> Simon: I think we're well aware of that, Celia. Who's flying?
>> Celia: A very good friend.
>> Simon: And where are we going?
>> Celia: Wherever I decide to drop you down.
>> Lily: We're over water. You're taking us back to Atlantic City, back to Rose?
>> Celia: You should be so lucky.
>> Simon: Where are you taking us, Celia? Just tell us something, at least. Come on, come on. Celia, I'm your
brother. I'm your brother. You're the one who taught me how to cheat at cards, remember? I'm the one who
taught you how to -
>> Celia: How to play games. Ooh, we played some really juicy games, didn't we, Simon?
>> Simon: Yeah, fine, but didn't we get each other out of a million and one scrapes over the years? Hey, didn't
we? You remember the time that --
>> Celia: Do you know what I remember? Would you like to know what I remember? I remember when we went
swimming and you held me under the water. Do you remember that, Simon? Hmm? I remember lots! Perhaps
even more than I should. Hey, my friend! Stay on the flight pattern, all right? Because I have some cargo to
unload!
Scene 5:
Location: Private airplane.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, CELIA FRASIER, AND SIMON FRASIER.
>> Lily: We're the cargo that you're gonna unload? You fly us out into the middle of nowhere just to dump us
off?
>> Simon: Celia, Celia. You can't -- you can't mean this. Celia, look at me, please. Look at me. I am not cargo
or some stranger. We are blood, for pete's sake!
>> Celia: Blood? You gotta be kidding me. We stopped being brother and sister a long time ago, didn't we,
Simon?
>> Simon: Celia, please, come on. Come on. Put the gun down. This has gone way too far.
>> Celia: I agree. I agree. But you have yourself to blame for it. You just wouldn't let it alone, would you,
darling? Sit. Sit!
>> Lily: All of this just for greed?
>> Celia: Greed, distrust, disgust! You pick it. Huh? You pick it. We were practically weaned on the stories of
Beloved and the Rose of Sharon diamond, weren't we, brother darling? For over a decade, you and I searched
for it high and low, until I was on the right bloody track and you came along and steal it, right? You want to
steal it like you want to steal everything!
>> Simon: All right! All right, fine. You have every reason to be furious at me.
>> Celia: Hey, that's mighty generous of you.
>> Simon: But this has got nothing to do with Lily, okay? Just leave her out of it.
>> Celia: I would, but this is between us, and you should have left it that way.
>> Simon: Celia, please. Please, just let Lily go.
>> Celia: No, afraid I can't do that. It's too late. If you're wondering why you're in such a predicament, all you
have to do is look at your seatmate.
>> Simon: Celia, if I could go back and change everything, I would, okay? All right. This is my fault. I accept
that, all right? Please, just let lily go.
>> Celia: Give me one good reason.
>> Simon: Because she is a mother! She is a mother of two of the most beautiful kids you have ever seen.
>> Celia: I'll bet they are beautiful. Hope you have a good will, darling.
>> Simon: They need her, Celia. Look at me. They need her back at home. So, whatever you have got
planned, whatever you have got planned, do it to me. All right? Please just do it to me. Land this plane, and
let's just let Lily get back to her family.
>> Lily: She doesn't care, Simon.
>> Celia: You're absolutely right. Just like you don't care for me any more. So, I suggest you start remembering
everything you knew about swimming. But, hey, don't ask Simon, because, well, you see, he's a bit of a tease
in the water. You do swim, don't you?
Scene 6:
Location: Private airplane.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, CELIA FRASIER, AND SIMON FRASIER
>> Celia: Go on. Strap them up. Go on, get on with it!
>> Lily: Parachutes?
>> Simon: Celia, don't do this, please!
>> Celia: I suggest you put them on, my brother, because in a few minutes, we're gonna be at our final
destination.
>> Lily: What are you talking about?! It's pitch black out there! We're gonna die!
>> Celia: Not necessarily. No, there are some islands about 100 miles out from the Outer Banks. And if you
play your cards right and you swim like the devil, you might actually reach shore. That is unless, of course, the
sharks and rip tide get you first.
>> Simon: Come on, Celia, there has to be some other way, please. Come on!
>> Celia: Look! Put on your parachute, brother, or you can jump into the ocean without it. But at this altitude,
you may very well be hitting asphalt at 100 miles an hour, so, again, it's your choice! It's always your choice!
But either way, this is where we say -- good-bye.
Scene 7:
Location: Private airplane.
LILY WALSH SNYDER, CELIA FRASIER, AND SIMON FRASIER.
>> Celia: Get on with it. We're taking long enough.
>> Simon: Celia, don't do this.
>> Lily: You're really not gonna make us jump. This is a sick joke!
>> Celia: It may be sick, but it's no joke! Now move. Move it!
>> Lily: You can't make us jump out there. It's pitch black! The water's gonna be freezing!
>> Celia: What would you prefer, that I push you with a bullet through your heart?
>> Lily: I don't know how this parachute works.
>> Celia: I guess you'll figure it all out on your way down. Now, open the door!
>> Simon: Celia, please. No, no!
>> Celia: Now, you jump, brother dear. You jump now! Jump! Now! Now!
