Scene 1:
Place: Deserted island off the North Carolina coast - Atlantic Ocean.

Location: The cave.

CELIA FRASIER AND LILY WALSH SNYDER AND SIMON FRASIER

>> Celia: The Rose of Sharon diamond. Just look at you. Finally -- oh, you're such purity. You're so perfect. What a fool great-grandfather was to let go of you. And for a silly emotion like love. What is that compared to this? This is a legend in my family. It's my family's future -- the guarantee of a better life.
>> Lily: You shouldn't have given it to her. Now she doesn't need us alive now, Simon.
>> Simon: Look, Lily, I know my sister. What she was said about Holden and Rose -- she would've destroyed you if that's what it took.
>> Celia: Yes, but it didn't come to that, now did it, Simon? And you -- yeah, you know, you've been chasing after this stone -- this legend -- all your life. You just threw it away for another's man's wife. You poor, pathetic fool.

Scene 2:
Location: The cave.

SIMON FRASIER AND CELIA FRASIER AND LILY WALSH SNYDER

>> Simon: Look, Celia, you have got finally what you came here to get, so now why don't we all go and get in that little plane of yours and we all can get out of here.
>> Celia: Is that what you'd like to do? Since when do you call all the shots?
>> Simon: Look, I'm sure you're very, very anxious to get to all those big diamond dealers in New York. And Lily and I would really like to -
>> Celia: "Lily and I, Lily and I" -- so sweet of you to have Lily on your mind so much these days. I've never seen you have an Achilles' Heel before. How's it feel? A bit vulnerable?
>> Simon: You lay one hand on her, and I swear --
>> Celia: And you will what? What will you do? Lucky for me that you are having your little schoolboy crush, aren't you? Isn't it also funny, Simon darling, how you've fallen victim to the same sappy myth that good old granddaddy did with his little flight of fancy. The two of you don't deserve the diamond. You lost it because you obviously weren't tough enough.
>> Lily: He's tough and he's got principles.
>> Celia: Principles? Oh, I like that one.
>> Lily: He stood by me countless times when he had absolutely nothing to gain.
>> Celia: Oh, he's always got an angle he's working on.
>> Lily: He wanted that diamond so he could save your family station -- save it for his family, for the future -- for the future legacy of his family. You know what? And he still gave you the diamond because he wanted to save my life.
>> Celia: There must be some violins playing somewhere.
>> Lily: He may have been dishonest with me in the beginning because he wanted that diamond, but I don't blame him. Because he was in a battle for something that meant the world to him -- a battle with a selfish, horrible woman like you.
>> Celia: My, it's quite clear that your crush is not one-sided anymore. I think she likes you. But are you the love of her life? Are you? Are you, honey? Are you? I don't think so! You can have him! You want him? You got him, baby! And you're gonna need him. You know why? Because while your husband is high-flying it with Rose in your bed -- oh, you know, I find this very ironic that the two of you are holding these torches for people you just can't have. It's bloody amusing.
>> Simon: Don't listen to her, Lily. Celia's never, ever known love from anyone.
>> Celia: Oh, that's right. Coming from a man who hasn't had a relationship last longer than a few months, except for maybe one. No. Brother, you and I are crippled in that department.
>> Simon: No. Speak for yourself.
>> Celia: You can just cut it out, Simon. Okay? Just cut it out, 'cause I'm not gonna lose my temper and let you jump me. No, I'm far too content. I'm a very content girl right now. And another little piece of information -- you can forget going back to civilization, the two of you, because a love like yours deserves to stay right here and be lost forever in your very own Bermuda triangle.
>> Lily: You're leaving us here?

Scene 3:
Location: The beach.

Scene: Island Cove
CELIA FRASIER AND SIMON FRASIER AND LILY WALSH SNYDER

>> Celia: Well, aren't you going to wish me "Bon Voyage"? Oh, why the sad faces? Come on, Simon, this cave, it's almost as cozy as the little cottage back home. What's this down here? Why, it's a radio. You know, you haven't lost your touch, Simon. You always find a way to have something more than the proverbial shirt on your back. Where'd you get it, huh?
>> Simon: We found it in a shack. Don't worry, it doesn't work.
>> Celia: Well, who else is on this island?
>> Simon: No one. There's no one.
>> Celia: There's no one.
>> Simon: No.
>> Celia: Tell the truth or loverboy starts dancing!
>> Lily: There was a castaway. He wanted to hurt us, but he's gone.
>> Celia: Gone where?
>> Simon: He's dead.
>> Celia: I've always known you were a very talented survivor. The two of you -- you're gonna do just fine. Ta-ta.

[Celia screams.]

>> Lily: Simon! Simon, are you okay?
>> Celia: The two of you, you're gonna need each other in the years to come. So why don't you take this as a parting gift. I'm ensuring that you and your lover spend eternity together. Okay, baby? Just a few fireworks for the celebration. Bye.

[Cooley climbs over cliff.]
[Cooley grunting.]

>> Cooley: Maybe I'm dead. How did I make it to heaven?

Scene 4:
Location: The beach.

Scene: Island cove.

LILY WALSH SNYDER AND SIMON FRASIER
>> Lily: No! Every time I think this nightmare is over, Celia shows up and it gets worse.
>> Simon: That's the last we'll ever see of her. There's nothing else that we have for her now.
>> Lily: We're stuck here -- forever.
>> Simon: Lily --
>> Lily: It's like -- every time I get a chance to get off of here, something comes along and takes it away. It's like that reoccurring dream I keep having -- my husband and my children are on the beach, but I can't get to them. I reach out to them, and they just get further and further away.
>> Simon: Look, someone might have -- someone else might've heard our distress signal -- another rescue crew may well be on their way. Okay? We're gonna get you home.
>> Lily: But what do I have to go home to? Nobody even cares that I'm gone.

Scene 5:
Location: The beach.

SIMON FRASIER AND CELIA FRASIER AND LILY WALSH SNYDER

>> Simon: Lily. Of course -- don't you think like that. Of course they care that you're gone. You have a -- you have a wonderful family, one that anyone would fight to get home to. So, please, not now, after everything we have been through, don't lose hope.
>> Lily: Celia has to be lying. Right? I mean, Holden couldn't get involved with Rose and not know it's not me. Simon -- I've known him since I was a teenager. I'm not replaceable.
>> Simon: No, of course, you're not. Look, I know Celia. Those pictures -- they would have been doctored.
>> Lily: Why would she bother?
>> Simon: Because she's nuts. I mean, you saw her. Her -- her sadistic tendencies are boundless. She's -- she was probably trying to get back at you because she thought you doublecrossed her about the diamond.
>> Lily: Looking at those pictures -- the way that Holden looked into Rose's eyes -- that's the way he used to look at me. And Luke and Faith, my babies, nestled in her arms -- how could they not know it's not their mother?!
>> Simon: Of course -- of course they do. All right? There -- there are camera techniques. All right? Software packages for home computers.
>> Lily: They're real.
>> Simon: They're not. They're not real.
>> Lily: Thank you for trying to make me feel better, but we're past the point of lying to each other to do that. They're real. The reason I know they're real is because that's the way we looked when we were a family.
>> Simon: Lily --
>> Lily: I was so worried. I was so worried how hard this would be on Holden and the children. I was up nights worried sick! I thought he was gonna come rescue me. I thought Holden would be the one landing in the plane to come get me! He's reach out his arms, and he'd hold onto me for dear life, and he would never, ever let me go! How could he -- could he and the children have found somebody so quickly to replace me?! How could Holden not know?!
>> Simon: Of course -- of course --
>> Lily: How couldn't Holden miss me?! Am I that replaceable? Oh! Oh, Celia's right. No one's going to come get me -- ever. It's hopeless!

Scene 6:
Location: The beach.

LILY WALSH SNYDER AND SIMON FRASIER AND CELIA FRASIER

>> Lily: Thank you -- for being here and for understanding. I don't know what I would do without you.
>> Simon: Lily, I am -- I am here, okay? Right by your side.
>> Lily: I'm being so selfish. This is not just about me.
>> Simon: Come on, you are being anything but selfish. All right? You are - - you are the most generous, loving woman I have ever met.
>> Lily: Simon, look, I understand what you gave up today. You gave up your life's dream to save my life -- my life -- without even a second thought.
>> Simon: Look, that diamond is not gonna do me much good here anyway, is it? It brought me nothing but bad luck since I first got my hands on it. I told you back in Atlantic City, remember? It's cursed.
>> Lily: Let's just be honest. I have nothing. I have no secrets, so let's just be honest.
>> Simon: Okay, I'll be straight with you.
>> Lily: I know you're devastated -- about the diamond. You can't -- you can't help your family.
>> Simon: No, that's not what I'm referring to. I would do anything in the world for you, Lily. Celia told the truth about one thing today -- one thing. Right now, on or off this island, you're the most important thing in my life.

[Celia comes up behind them]

>> Celia: Well, isn't that so very touching?
>> Simon: What are you still doing here?
>> Lily: Who's flying the plane?

Location: Airplane

COOLEY

[Cooley laughing maniacally.]

>> Cooley: Yeah!
