Scene 1
[ Oakdale Airport ]
>> Simon: Oh, I thought I'd never say this, but I'm glad to see you. Thank you.
>> Lucinda: I should have known that something like this would happen. These bloody tourists.
>> Simon: I was hoping a cancellation would come up, but no such luck. I spent all night terrorizing every ticket clerk.
>> Lucinda: Well, you should have spent your time a little better, thinking about what your plan is. How are you gonna go about
finding her?
>> Simon: Look, Malta is not very big. I will find her.
>> Lucinda: You make sure you bring Lily home. Here. Do whatever you have to do.
>> Simon: Lucinda, listen, I promise I'll find Lily and her family and bring them home.
>> Lucinda: I'm sorry, but there's gonna be a chartered helicopter at the airport waiting for you.
>> Simon: Well, a first-class ticket in a helicopter? Can you stop spoiling me?
>> Lucinda: No. I want you fit. I want you on the top of your game. I don't want you to fret about anybody, anything. Only think
about Lily.
Scene 2
[Oakdale Airport]
>> Simon: You don't have to stick around until I board. You're starting to act like my mother.
>> Lucinda: Don't flatter yourself. I don't know what's the matter with me. I really don't. Trusting you after everything -- am I losing my
mind?
>> Simon: Yeah, or maybe I am.
>> Intercom: At this, time, Flight 550 will begin boarding first-class passengers.
>> Simon: I'll be in touch.
>> Lucinda: Don't you fail me. Don't exceed my worst expectations.
>> Simon: Now, you really sound like my mother.
Scene 3
[ Flight to Malta ]
>> Stewardess: I brought you some fresh lime.
>> Simon: Excellent, thank you.
>> Stewardess: If there's anything else that you need --
>> Simon: Anything?
>> Katie: [ peaking through the curtains from the coach cabin ] One of those "coffee, tea, or me" types. Tramp. What are you
looking at?
>> Junior: Are you the flying nun?
>> Katie: Yeah, that's me kid, in reruns.
[ Katie takes a vacant seat at the rear of the First Class Cabin ]
[ Someone taps Katie on the shoulder ]
>> Katie: Stop it, kid. Go back to your seat.
>> Stewardess: You're gonna have to go back to your seat, uh -- Sister.
>> Katie: Yes, my child?
>> Stewardess: I'm very sorry, Sister --?
>> Katie: Sister Katherine.
>> Stewardess: Sister Katherine, coach passengers have to stay in the coach cabin. You understand. We'd have a stampede if we
made exceptions.
>> Katie: You don't understand. See, the man that I was sitting next to back there was a p-e-r-v-e-r-t.
>> Stewardess: Well, if you like, I can change your seat for you, but you're gonna have to go back to coach.
>> Katie: Well, coach is full. You're not telling me that the airline would want me to sit next to a deviate who can't keep his hands off
my habit? What kind of message does that send to the children, may I ask?
>> Stewardess: Okay, very well, Sister Katherine, you may stay in first class.
>> Katie: Thank you, my child. Now, can I get another glass of Chardonnay? I was practically molested back there. I need to calm my
nerves.
>> Simon: Excuse me, stewardess, do you know anything about Malta?
>> Stewardess: Actually, yeah I do -- most of the trendy tourist spots and some really fun bars.
>> Simon: Well, I wish I had time to check them out, but I'm here doing an assignment for "The City Times." Our publisher wants to
do a travel feature on the old fortresses, one in particular - -
>> Stewardess: Oh, that is so funny. You're the second person in the past two days to ask about the location of an old fortress.
>> Simon: Really? Who was the other person?
>> Stewardess: An American woman. Maybe she's going to scoop you. She was sitting next to this Maltese woman and she seemed
to know everything -- the location, the history.
>> Simon: The location? Do you happen to remember where that might be?
>> Stewardess: Oh, yeah, sure, that's easy. It's right down here right on the tip of the peninsula.
>> Simon: In Vittoriosa?
>> Stewardess: Mm-hmm.
>> Simon: You are right, that would be hard to miss. Thank you.
>> Katie: Vittoriosa.
Scene 4
[ Flight to Malta ]
>> Simon: Hey, look, I've got a helicopter waiting for me. Can you tell me where the launching pad is?
>> Stewardess: A helicopter? I don't know, but if you go inside the terminal, I'm sure that somebody there will be able to help you.
>> Simon: Excellent. Hey, look, you've been an amazing help. Thank you so much.
>> Stewardess: You're welcome.
>> Simon: You take care.
>> Stewardess: Thanks for flying Transair, and hope to see you again, Mr. Frasier. [ Simon exits the plane and Katie walks out of the
lavatory dressed in a halter top ] I guess that's what you would call lay clothing?
>> Katie: Well, I guess I've kinda gotten out of the habit of wearing my habit.
[ Katie giggles ]
>> Stewardess: Cute.
>> Katie: Listen, would you know any cheap way of getting around Malta, by any chance?
>> Stewardess: You're gonna have to ask inside the terminal, Sister. Ambassador and Mrs. Keating, thank you so much for flying
with us.
>> Ambassador Keating: And I thank you. It was our pleasure.
>> Junior: Where do we get our bicycles?
>> Ambassador Keating: Ah, that reminds me -- what did you do with those bicycle claims tickets?
>> Mrs. Keating: Oh, I gave them to you, dear.
>> Ambassador Keating: No, sweetheart. I know you gave them to me.
>> Stewardess: I hope you enjoy your vacation.
>> Mrs. Keating: Oh, I'm sure we will. Fergie told us there's no better way to see Malta than on a bicycle.
[ Katie spies the tickets in a seat pocket and grabs them ]
>> Katie: And that's what I'm hoping.
Scene 5
[ The Dungeon in Malta ]
>> Simon: Lily.
[ Lily gasps ]
>> Lily: Simon! What are you doing here?
>> Simon: Your mother sent me here. She didn't want you to be alone.
>> Lily: Oh, I'm so glad to see you. Oh, how did you find me?
>> Simon: It was a complete coincidence. The stewardess on the plane remembered you asking about this place. My God, what the
hell happened here?
>> Lily: I don't wanna answer that. I'm just so afraid. I was sure that Holden and Luke were here, and I don't -- somebody was
murdered here maybe just a few days ago!
>> Simon: Maybe this wasn't the place Holden and Luke were brought to.
>> Lily: This is exactly the way Luke described it -- the cypress trees, the golden church dome. I mean, I'm so afraid they found out
about the note and they retaliated against them.
>> Simon: This cannot be the only cell with the -- with the exact -- other cells --
>> Lily: I've been in every single cell, and there's nobody. There's nothing!
>> Simon: Maybe Holden and Luke were moved somewhere else. Listen, listen. Listen to me. Don't jump to any conclusions, okay.
Don't lose hope. All right? We'll just have a look around.
>> Lily: I've looked around everywhere. There's absolutely nothing.
>> Simon: Give me a second. Give me a second.
>> Lily: What? What is it?
>> Simon: Do you recognize this?
>> Lily: That's Holden's wedding ring. Oh, no.
