Scene 1:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Carly Snyder Home
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, JACK SNYDER
>> Carly: Just put the cuffs on me, Jack. I was hoping that things wouldn't end this way.
>> Jack: How's you expect it to end, Carly? With the kids waving good-bye to you at the airport, wishing you luck in your new life?
>> Carly: Does that really matter now? What are you waiting for? Just do it.
>> Jack: I've got a better idea. Catch.
>> Carly: What are you doing, Jack?
>> Simon: I'm not cuffing Carly, if that's what you want.
>> Jack: Not Carly. Me.
>> Simon: You?
>> Carly: What?
>> Jack: Yeah. Cuff me to this.
>> Simon: You're joking, right?
>> Jack: Nope. And you're going to have to knock me out first.
>> Carly: No. Just wait a minute --
>> Jack: We don't have time to argue about this. Your window is like 30 minutes, tops.
>> Simon: Okay, 30 minutes to get to the plane.
>> Jack: Then you better get moving, Simon.
>> Simon: Using this, all right, this is what you're asking me to do. You want me to knock you out?
>> Carly: No, just wait!
Scene 2:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Carly Snyder Home
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, JACK SNYDER
>> Carly: Have you lost your mind, Jack?
>> Jack: No, the escape has to look genuine, so you're going to have to make sure that I'm out cold.
>> Carly: Jack, are you sure this is what you want?
>> Jack: Well, I wanted to shoot Simon. But since you care about him, I've decided to let him live.
>> Simon: This is a trick, right?
>> Jack: No, just do whatever -- do what you got to do, okay? Just get it over with.
>> Simon: This, so you can add resisting arrest and assault to the charges?
>> Jack: This is not about you! This is about Parker, and J.J., and Sage. They know I'm meeting you here. If I let you walk, then they're going to be questioned about me. So, it has to look real.
>> Carly: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I never wanted J.J. to have to lie.
>> Jack: We're past that.
>> Carly: And I know that I've made this so much worse. I just wanted to see my kids, Jack. I wanted to hold them. And look at their faces and tell them how much I love them. Please, promise me that you'll tell them.
>> Jack: Yeah. I will. As many times as they need to hear it. Now turn around so Simon can do what he needs to do, before I change my mind.
>> Simon: Are you okay with this? I'm sorry, Jack.
>> Jack: Me too.
Scene 3:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Carly Snyder Home
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, JACK SNYDER
>> Carly: Oh my God, Simon! You didn't have to hit him so hard!
>> Simon: It looks a lot worse than it is, all right? At least he's not in pain.
>> Carly: For now. Is it all right that we leave him like that?
>> Simon: He's going to be okay, I promise, all right? Come on. Let's just get out of here now!
>> Carly: I'll never forget this. Or you, G-Man.
>> Simon: Ready? Come on.
Scene 4:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Carly Snyder Home
JACK SNYDER, CARLY SNYDER, MARGO HUGHES, COPS
>> Jack: Oh, my head. Thanks.
>> Cop #1: No problem.
>> Jack: Anybody know how long I was out? I had to be out a while.
>> Margo: What's going on here? Someone fill me in.
>> Cop #2: We got an anonymous 9-1-1.
>> Cop #1: B and E in progress. We arrived and found Detective Snyder out cold.
>> Margo: Jack, who did this to you?
>> Jack: Simon Frasier.
>> Margo: Really?
>> Jack: He and Carly were on their way out of town when they decided to double back so she could say good-bye to the kids. I found out about it and met them here, and that's when he jumped me.
>> Margo: Hit you from behind, huh?
>> Jack: Yeah, I never saw it coming.
>> Margo: Anyone call an ambulance?
>> Jack: No, that's not necessary. Margo, did you find him? Is my car outside? A black suv?
>> Margo: No, I didn't see it on my way in.
>> Cop #2: We'll take a look around.
>> Margo: Yeah. So you should get an MRI.
>> Jack: No. Margo, that's not necessary.
>> Margo: Why not? Looks like he hit you pretty hard.
>> Jack: He did.
>> Margo: Guy like Simon with no police training, take out a guy like you.
>> Jack: Maybe he got lucky.
>> Margo: Very lucky. So Jack, you going to stick to that story, huh?
>> Jack: You got a problem with it?
>> Margo: Just one. It's a lie.
Scene 5:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Vienna's Jet
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER
>> Simon: That was close. I wasn't sure we'd make it. We all set to go?
>> Carly: I didn't know anything could hurt so much.
>> Simon: Look, I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to see your kids.
>> Carly: It's not just the kids.
>> Simon: It's Jack.
>> Carly: I hurt him very badly this time.
>> Simon: Given the circumstances, that was kind of unavoidable.
>> Carly: He still let me go.
>> Simon: Okay. What was he going to do? Have his kids visit their mother in jail?
>> Carly: He didn't do it for the kids, Simon. He did it for me.
>> Simon: He sure as hell didn't do it for me.
>> Carly: I thought he'd stopped feeling anything but anger. I thought after everything there was no possible way he could love me. But he does. He still loves me.
>> Simon: And what about you? Do you still love him?
Scene 6:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Vienna's Jet
SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, JACK SNYDER
>> Carly: Jack's a part of me, Simon. He's a part of my children. I will always -- I will always love him.
>> Simon: Look, I'm not -- I'm not asking you to stop loving him. All I'm trying to do is understand what just happened between the two of you.
>> Carly: I think he finally forgave me.
>> Simon: For what?
>> Carly: For being the woman that I am and not the woman that he hoped I'd turn into.
>> Simon: I'm never going to want you to change for me.
>> Carly: But I have changed. Or maybe I've just become more myself.
>> Simon: Look at me. If you want to go home --
>> Carly: I can't. He's better off without me. So are the kids.
>> Simon: And you really believe that?
>> Carly: I wouldn't be here if I didn't. Besides, I love you.
>> Simon: Say it again.
>> Carly: I love you. You are my future. You're my life now.
>> Simon: And you're mine too. I'm going to make this right, Carly. I'm going to make this right for all of us.
