>> Lily: So you'll be able to tell us everything we need to know about these letters?
>> Iva: And what exactly are you looking for?
>> Antique dealer: Watermarks. Approximate age of the ink and paper. When letters age, the acidity in the ink causes the paper to disintegrate in certain spaces. You see?
>> Lily: Absolutely.
>> Antique dealer: See the light shining through the dots?
>> Lily: So, what do you think? Are they authentic? Are they over a century old?
>> Iva: Or are they a fraud?
>> Antique dealer: Well, I think you'll be pleased to know, mrs. Snyder, that these are indeed the real thing, these letters.
>> Lily: Really? Well, that -- are you sure?
>> Antique dealer: And the penmanship is peculiar to someone not educated in the states.
>> Lily: Thank you very much. I'll write you a check.

LILY WALSH SNYDER, IVA SNYDER, AND THE NEARBY ANTIQUES DEALER.

No matter what the future brings, or how many people threaten you, please be assured that the rose is yours to keep for all time." So he gave his one true love a single rose. Oh, why aren't men this romantic anymore?

HOLDEN SNYDER ENTERS

>> Holden: Hey, who says that men aren't romantic?
>> Iva: Hello. How are you?
>> Holden: Good to see you. How goes everything?
>> Iva: Oh, great, great. How goes it with you?
>> Holden: Oh, everything's good.
>> Iva: How are you?
>> Holden: Hi, how you doing? Holden snyder. Somebody want to tell me what's going on?

>> Iva: Oh, he loves surprises.

LILY WALSH SNYDER AND IVA SNYDER

>> Lily: If he even suspects that I have questions about simon, you know what's going to happen.
>> Iva: He's gonna toss him out on his ear.
>> Lily: And I will never find out why he has a picture of this woman who looks exactly like me. At least we know now the letters are real. That part of his story is true. But I need to know the rest.
>> Iva: All right. I will go back to the farm, and I will call jared and caroline's other children, and see if they know anything.
>> Lily: In the meantime, I'm gonna go back to cal's, and I'm gonna put the letters --
>> Iva: Oh, lily, lily, please, please be careful.

>> Iva: You're running out of time.
