>> Simon: Oh, no, no. Just a little singed, that's all.
>> Lily: Do you want me to get something for the pain?
>> Simon: No, I'm okay. Lily, I was too late. I mean, all of them are gone. Your photos are lost.
>> Lily: It doesn't matter. Our children are fine. That's all that matters.
>> Fireman #4: Good news, ms. Snyder. The fire's out. And you're awfully lucky because the other rooms didn't sustain any water or smoke damage.
>> Lily: Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. You guys are great. They said they're sending an ambulance for you.
>> Simon: I'm really fine. How about you?
>> Lily: I'm fine. It's a little sore throat, that's all.
>> Simon: No, no, lily, there was a lot of stuff in that room -- adhesives, paint. Who knows what you might have inhaled.
>> Lily: I wasn't in there that long, thanks to you. I don't want you to go to the hospital by yourself.
>> Simon: Lily, it's okay. I'm a big boy, you know? I'm all grown up.
>> Lily: You took me out of a burning house. I could've died.

>> Emma: It does. It's all that smoke.
>> Lily: We'll just pretend we had a big barbecue.
>> Emma: Yeah.

LILY WALSH SNYDER AND EMMA SNYDER

>> Emma: Well, we're gonna have quite a time fixing that all up there. Quite a mess.
>> Lily: What do you mean, we?
>> Emma: We. I mean we. I'm gonna help you. I'm not gonna take no for an answer. Boy, this is a good time for holden to be out of the country, isn't it?
>> Lily: I can't tell him. He's in a plane. He's in the air, going to paris.
>> Emma: Sweetheart, you can leave a message for him at the hotel.
>> Lily: If I leave a message, he's gonna rush right back here.
>> Emma: Well, that's not such a bad idea. You shouldn't have to deal with this all by yourself.
>> Lily: I'm not. I have you, remember? And I have simon.
>> Emma: Well, his hands looked pretty bad. I mean, you think he's going to be all right?
>> Lily: I hope so. I hope he is.

>> Fireman #1: You passed out, inhaled a ton of smoke.
>> Lily: I can't go. I have the children.

>> Lily: All right, I'll be right -- I'll be right there.

LILY WALSH SNYDER AND EMMA SNYDER

>> Lily: Please, emma, don't let them out of your sight.

>> Lily: This was very interesting and exciting for them, but I know that they're shaken up.
>> Emma: Why wouldn't they be? But thank heavens, you're all right. You're all right. Everything's okay.
>> Lily: Just had one major casualty.
>> Emma: What, those family pictures?
>> Lily: Simon couldn't save many.
>> Emma: Sweetheart, they were just pictures. You know, you're people. You're irreplaceable. If anything had happened to you -- I mean, we could have lost you and the children there in that fire.
>> Lily: Simon almost lost his life saving those photographs.
>> Emma: Now, I think that you got more than an architect when he walked into your life. That's all I can say.

>> Lily: But the burns will heal?
>> Susan: Oh, they'll heal, but he's gonna lose some flexibility in both his hands.
>> Lily: Simon's an architect. He's an artist. He uses his hands constantly.
>> Susan: He didn't mention his career. Actually, he didn't do much talking. He's in a lot of pain.
>> Lily: I don't know how he would survive if he can't use his hands.
>> Susan: Don't worry. We're gonna put him in a physical therapy regimen, and usually it works pretty well.
>> Lily: Usually?
>> Susan: Well, the prognosis is good.
>> Lily: So the odds are in his favor?
>> Susan: Absolutely. Your friend simon's gonna be back at his drawing board in no time flat.`
>> Lily: Thank you. Thank you, susan. Thank you so much.
>> Susan: And he's pretty shaken up, so --
>> Lily: Oh, I won't upset him. I promise.
>> Susan: Keep the visit short. He's on a very strong painkiller. He's pretty groggy.

>> Simon: Don't. They're your history. Don't --
>> Lily: No. You wouldn't be here right now if I wasn't so foolish. This is all my fault.
>> Simon: It's not your fault. It's my fault. It's not your fault, it's mine.

>> Simon: Beloved.
