Scene: Lakeview Terrace Hotel Room

SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, VIENNA HYATT

>> Vienna: My toes just curled.
>> Carly: Simon?
>> Vienna: Oops.Isn't better she find out from us, rather than reading it in the society pages?
>> Simon: Vienna, please, just stop.
>> Vienna: Carly, I'm sorry. I know this is a great shock. I'll give you your privacy. We can spare a few minutes. After all, we have our entire lives together.
>> Carly: I didn't even recognize her sober.
>> Simon: Carly --
>> Carly: Simon --
>> Simon: She knows the truth.
>> Carly: What truth?
>> Simon: About the jewels. She knows we stole the necklace.
>> Carly: What? Doesn't, because why -- why did she tell Jack? Oh, boy. Oh, Simon, I'm gonna faint. I'm gonna fall over. Before I fall over, you promise me -- you promise me that we're not gonna go to jail, all right?
>> Simon: No -- no one's going to jail, okay? Vienna will keep our little secret.
>> Carly: Really?
>> Simon: Yes.
>> Carly: Why do you think that?
>> Simon: Because you and I are breaking up.

Scene: Lakeview Terrace Hotel Room

SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, VIENNA HYATT

>> Simon: Vienna is threatening to blow the lid off this whole thing, unless I go back to her.
>> Carly: Well then, so you go back to her.
>> Simon: Well, your devotion to our relationship is touching.So just trust me?
>> Carly: Those two words that send a shiver up my spine.
>> Simon: We'll be fine.
>> Carly: How?! I want my freedom, Simon. I want to live my life. I want to see my children!
>> Simon: You will see your kids --
>> Carly: And I don't mean on just on visiting days, if you know what I mean.
>> Simon: Calm down, please.
>> Carly: This is as calm as I'm gonna get! Simon, we're not gonna be able to keep Vienna's mouth shut forever. If we don't give her what she wants, she's gonna go running to Jack.
>> Simon: She won't run to Jack.
>> Carly: You're right. You're right, she won't, because you are gonna go running back to her. It's over, Simon. She wins.
>> Simon: Do you want me to go back to Vienna?
>> Carly: As opposed to me going to jail? Yeah.
>> Simon: You'd miss me.
>> Carly: Oh, sure. Of course I would.
>> Carly: You know, I should have just told Jessica everything -- >> Simon: Tell Jessica? No way, that is the worst thing you could have done.
>> Carly: Or Jack. I could have just put it out there, and made some kind of deal.
>> Simon: Oh, and sold me out?
>> Carly: Protect what's left of my family.
>> Simon: Okay, here are two things I will not do. I will not put you or your kids in jeopardy. And I will not waste one moment of our time together. Because that is more priceless to me than any jewels.
>> Carly: Oh, Simon, what are we going to do?
>> Simon: Have faith in each other, okay? Not Jessica or Jack, but us. Come on, can you do that?


Scene 3:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Park Near Stores

SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, JEWELER

>> Carly: What are we doing here?
>> Simon: Patience, patience.
>> Carly: For what?
>> Simon: The solution to our problem. She'll be here any minute.
>> Carly: Who? Why did I let you talk me into this?
>> Simon: Carly, you want to fix this just badly as I do, right?
>> Carly: Vienna is the fix.
>> Simon: I told you. I'm not losing you because of Vienna.
>> Carly: As soon as you tell her that, she'll be on the horn with Jack and it will be you, and me, and our Miranda rights.
>> Simon: All right, if you just bare with me, I think I figured it all out. Okay, here she is, here she is. Maria, this is Carly. Carly, Maria, she's a master jeweler. She actually was the one who made your necklace.
>> Maria: I hope you're enjoying it.
>> Simon: She loves it. Oh, my God, she loves it. In fact, she loves it so much, she wants a copy made as soon as possible, for her sister.
>> Maria: I'm sorry, Simon. I can't do it.


Scene 4:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Park Near Stores

SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, JEWELER

>> Simon: Listen, Maria, I know it's a lot to ask, but we -- I will make it worth your while.
>> Maria: I'm sorry, I'm just swamped right now.
>> Simon: Listen, all we need is an exact replica of this little baby right here. I'll double what I paid you last time.
>> Maria: Okay, but I can't promise when.
>> Simon: Just as soon as you possibly can, that'd be great. You've got my number, right? Awesome. Thanks, Maria. She's great. She's so good at what she does you'll never tell that the new diamond is a fake.
>> Carly: And so, what are we going to do until that replica is made?
>> Simon: Wear it proudly.
>> Carly: No, no, no. I've got a better idea. Simon, I need to get this monkey off my neck, like, now.
>> Simon: And what do you suggest?
>> Carly: Well, you're not going to like it, but think it's the only way.


Scene 5:
Location: Oakdale
Scene: Cliff Over River

SIMON FRASIER, CARLY SNYDER, VIENNA HYATT

>> Carly: I would be so grateful if you could give me a hand with this teeny, weeny problem I'm having.
>> Simon: Alright, all right. It's bad that you talked me into this, but you want to what? Drag me up here and make me watch you do it?
>> Carly: Well, yes because that's -- I need your moral support. Now, let's just do it. Okay?
>> Simon: Carly, this is totally unnatural.
>> Carly: No, this is necessary. This is survival!
>> Simon: Now, come on, there's got to be another way. Let's --
>> Carly: Just trust me, all right. Come on, let's just do it then!
[ Simon sighs ]
>> Simon: I still think people are going to wonder why you're not wearing it.
>> Carly: Simon, you have that jeweler wrapped around your finger. She'll have that copy made in no time.
>> Simon: Okay. Go. Come on, get rid of it.
>> Carly: It's just a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.
>> Simon: Okay, fine -- any last words?
>> Carly: Good-bye. Good-bye my precious. One day a priceless gem --
>> Simon: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tomorrow?
>> Carly: Fish food.
>> Simon: Okay.
>> Carly: Oh!
>> Simon: There is goes.
>> Carly: You know, Vienna's not going to like this. She was counting on your reunion.
>> Simon: Well, that's just too bad, isn't it?
>> Carly: So how long, you think, before she calls Jack and tells him that we are in possession of stolen property? Oh, I'd love to see the look on her face when we call her bluff.
>> Simon: You are a very wicked woman.
>> Carly: That's part of my charm.
>> Simon: It certainly is. All right, come on.
[ Necklace catches on branch near the water. ]
